Bethel College Lady Pilots travel to DR
Coach Jody Martinez and his Lady Pilot basketball team traveled to the Dominican Republic. Their team had the opportunity to play against top international competition and serve people in villages, orphanages as well as in the arenas where they played. While the team had the chance to "touch" the lives of many, God truly "touched" the hearts of the players.
“God has really blessed our team this week! We have had some great opportunities to impact the lives here but have been impacted equally by them. I am really enjoying these experiences with my team.”
“Wow, no words could ever be adequate to express what God has been doing on this trip… Life-changing seems overused but is so true. This analogy was shared with me so I thought I’d share it with you. Each day we are all constantly blown away by the overwhelming love we receive from the orphan children that cling to us despite the fact they know absolutely nothing about us…
JUST GO.......
Want to change the world? Want to be a part of this exciting opportunity?

Charleston Southern Universtity Travels With SCORE
Charleston Southern University traveled with SCORE International to the Dominican Republic in August. Coach Barclay Radebaugh used the trip as an opportunity to get his team valuable game experience against top international competition and the chance to "serve" a people of need. On the court the Bucs went 3-0 against the Dominican club teams. Off the court they served by taking food and supplies to a poor village. They visited an orphanage were they had the chance to play and share the love of Christ with the kids.

Super Sports Week Dominican 2012
Had an amazing week with more than 60 athletes and coaches traveling to the Dominican Republic to play basketball, baseball and softball against great international competition while sharing the life changing message of Jesus Christ. At some point each team played against part or all of one of the Dominican National Teams. The athletes took food, toys and other needed supplies to a sugar cane village, an orphanage in La Romana and at Jackie's House, another orphanage SCORE supports. They attended church at Juan 3:16, which is a SCORE church plant reaching out to many of the people that the SCORE groups serve. Each night the athletes were encouraged at devotions. The teams also had the chance to shop at the market and take in some of the unique sites of Santo Domingo. During every activity they shared the love of Christ with the people of the DR.
Super Sports Week Costa Rica
What a week in San Jose, Costa Rica. We took over 40 athletes down to use their gifts, talents and abilities to share the love of Christ with the Costa Rican people. They played against great international competition, visited schools, took food to the homeless, visited a local church, donated needed supplies and equipment, helped support local missionaries and shared the gospel at every outreach. The teams had great success on the court, but even more success in sharing the love of Christ.
SHARING THE VISION
Had the chance to talk with Coach Brad Stevens of Butler and Coach Mike Brey of Notre Dame on my recent trip to Indiana. We are praying that more NCAA DI teams will choose to take their foreign trip with SCORE. We are the only organization that can offer the chance to play against top international competition, experience a foreign culture and share the love of Christ through serving a needy people
Blackshear Place Basketball Camp
SCORE hosted a basketball camp at Blackshear Place Baptist Church. More than 80 kids from 4th grade to high school participated in the camp that ran from June 25-28. The campers worked on the fundamentals of basketball while also taking a look at the fundamentals of the Bible. The word for the week was "Perspective".... the state of one's ideas; the facts known to one. We examined our perspective of the devil, our perspective of God and our perspective on the active "role" we play in the game. The devil has the home court advantage but we have the ultimate "teammate" is Jesus. The game may be difficult but we have the ultimate VICTORY.
