Basketball Outreach in North Georgia

SCORE International has partnered with Young America Ministry in trying to reach out to and encourage young people in North Georgia. SCORE helped provide a basketball court that will be used to provide kids a safe place to play while learning the "life lessons" found in sport. We had our kick off event May 31. My son Andrew provided some entertainment and area high school basketball players helped with a free "hoops" clinic. We also had the opportunity to share with the kids that God loves them and has an amazing plan for their lives. They were challenged to stop looking to the world to find their identity and look to the one who created the world.
